ABOUT Roger

Behavior Is the Strategy.
Thinking Is the Skill.

Roger Hurni is a Behavioral Marketing strategist, keynote speaker, and author who has spent his career helping people change behavior to drive measurable outcomes.

His book, Outthink. Outperform., delivers a step-by-step framework for applying Behavioral Marketing to real-world challenges. It gives marketers, executives, and teams a system for analyzing situations, identifying motivational drivers, and building strategies that outperform traditional approaches. The book includes a foreword by Jay Baer, a seven-time New York Times Best Selling Author.

Roger is a certified Behavior Designer, trained by Dr. BJ Fogg, the behavioral scientist behind Stanford University's Behavior Design Lab. That training is the foundation of his consulting methodology and every presentation he delivers.

As a speaker, Roger has presented in 23 countries. His sessions blend behavioral economics, psychology, and design thinking into immediately actionable takeaways. Audiences walk away with tools to think more critically, make better decisions, and apply behavioral frameworks to AI, marketing, and high-stakes strategy challenges.

Roger is the founder of Off Madison Ave, a nationally recognized Behavioral Marketing agency. His client work spans some of the most recognized brands in the world, including Nike, ABC Network, PetSmart, Wells Fargo, Safeway, P.F. Chang's, Doubletree Hotels, Starwood Hotels, LOWA, and WD-40.

Here's where I put My Expertise to work.

I bring Behavioral Marketing to every client engagement. Strategy, creative, and execution all start with understanding what drives human behavior and what needs to change.

I bring Behavioral Marketing into PR and communications work. Earned media and influencer programs perform better when they are built around how audiences actually process information and make decisions.

I help partner agencies worldwide contextualize human behavior for their markets. The patterns of human behavior are consistent. How those patterns express themselves across cultures requires precision.
